This module will provide the oral hygiene student with knowledge of the:
• Macro- and microscopic features of the periodontium
• Function of the periodontium
• Assessment and diagnosis of periodontal diseases
• Determine risk factors of periodontal diseases

Prerequisites No prerequisites.
Contact time 2 lectures per week, 1 practical per week
